In a nutshell, realistic figurative painting

I’m interested in showing what surrounds me, where I live or lived, places where I stayed, my family, my loved ones, objects around me, scenes and images of a certain beauty in their daily simplicity. That could be the one common feature in all my works, which I always tackle as a challenge. 

As for my style, I try to distance myself from exuberance, harshness or excessive attention to detail. Instead I endeavour to catch the viewer’s attention through what appears to be an effortless, spontaneous and realistic choice of colours.

Why do I paint? Because I enjoy it immensely.
